St. Andrew's to Celebrate Becoming an Affirming Ministry!

On Sunday, March 3, 2019, at 3:00 pm, we will take the final step in becoming an Affirming Ministry in The United Church of Canada by publicly declaring St. Andrew's United Church in Mission to be fully inclusive of persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Becoming Affirming is an explicit show of our belief that all sexual orientations and gender identities are part of God's divine plan and gift of diversity in humanity.  It is a public affirmation to let the wider community know that we are a safe place not only for LGBTQ2SIA refugees, immigrants, and Canadians, but also for their families, friends and allies to find a place to belong and a hope to worship in.
