St. Andrew's Becomes an Affirming Ministry!

On September 9th, 2018 after a year of education and reflection, St. Andrew's voted unanimously to become an Affirming ministry.  

Affirming ministries declare in both words and actions that God loves and accepts people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. They (and we) commit to working for the full inclusion of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in the United Church of Canada and in society.  

We join over 200 Affirming United Church ministries across Canada in witnessing to the wider community that God’s love extends to everyone equally and without reserve.  

Our Affirming Celebration Service will be held sometime in the new year.
